Summit Bank, an Oklahoma commercial bank chartered in 2002, is entering its 5th year in Oklahoma City after expanding there with a loan production office in 2008.

In 2011 they opened a full service office in the Columbus Square building located at 1001 N.W. 63rd Street.

Crouse Charlie

 

Charlie Crouse, President-OKC, leads a staff of 6 in Oklahoma City.  Crouse has been with Summit since 2003 as a senior commercial lender.

 

Cook JebJeb Cook, Senior VP – Lending, joined Summit Bank in July 2008 and immediately began expanding Summit’s brand name in the Oklahoma City metro area.

 

Young Jim

In 2011, long-time banker Jim Young was tapped to lead Summit-OKC’s advisory board as chairman, taking over for former chairman, Mike McDonald (Triad Energy).  In his 40 years of banking, Young has been in senior leadership roles at JP Morgan-Chase, Local Oklahoma, Bank of America, and Bank of Oklahoma.

In addition to McDonald, Young, and Crouse, Summit Bank-OKC’s advisory board includes: Ron Atchley (Atchley Resources); Gary Bridwell (Ditch Witch of Oklahoma); Zane Fleming (Eagle Drilling Fluids); Joe Warren (Cimarron Production Company); and newest member Dr. Gabe Pitman (Neurologist). Additionally, Steve Brown (President of Red Rock Distributing) serves as a Summit Bank Board Member

Crouse credits Summit’s success in Oklahoma City to the influence and expertise of the advisory board as well as Summit’s four other shareholders in OKC.  Thanks to a thriving economy in Oklahoma City and strong leadership, Crouse continues to see strong growth prospects for Summit’s efforts there. 

Other members of the Oklahoma City office include Connie Frazier, Executive Assistant, who has been with Summit since June 2008;  Tamara Belknap, Deposit Services Representative, and Keshia Brown, Deposit & Treasury Services Specialist, both with Summit since 2011.
